3 year old program: It is a great introduction to the school environment. Meeting just 2 days a week, Tuesday and Thursday, allows for the child to slowly acclimate themselves to the structured setting. It is a great beginning for the child to learn acceptable social behavior as well as tools for working with others. The mornings include play time, group time, song time, snack time, and outside time. Your child will need to turn 3 prior to January 1, 2011 to enroll in this class.
4 year old program: This class meets 3 days a week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday). It is a great class to continue learning how to work with others as well as develop Kindergarten readiness. Group time includes the days of the week, the weather, and more. The mornings also include teacher-led activities, play time, snack time, and outside time. Children in this class may or may not continue onto Kindergarten the following school year. Your child must turn 4 prior to January 1, 2011 to enroll in this class.
PRE-K: This program meets 5 days a week and is open to any child who will attend Kindergarten next year. There is great focus on the alphabet and learning to write, days of the week, months of the year, as well as other social and readiness skills. Their mornings include group time, teacher-led activities, play time, snack time, and outside time.
